Thanks for this list! And I appreciate that you pointed out the inaccuracies of literally every Jane Eyre adaptation, that bugs me as well. I haven’t yet seen the 1980s film version, though it sounds like I should—my personal favorite adaptation is the early 2000s musical, but I do like the Ruth Wilson/Toby Stephens miniseries as well.
