This community is intended as a central community for all historical fandoms, both fictional and RPF. Welcome!

This is a place for posting and linking to any historical fic, icons, art, links, recs, reviews, meta, news, fanworks of any type, useful resources, discussion, community & event promos. If it's to do with a historical fandom, whether RPF or fictional, then it's welcome here. For fanworks, all ratings are fine.

As 'history' is a very wide fandom, this community is also intended to help people find like-minded souls and gauge interest in setting up more specific communities/friending etc. (but it's always fine to interact here). It's also a place for historical fandoms too small/obscure to have their own spaces.

If you're new to Dreamwidth, you can find a collection of helpful welcome & how-to posts here.

Hello, this is a little mass-post of some historical(-adjacent) fics I’ve written previously (barring Band of Brothers, which for some reason has caused me to write more stories than I usually would per fandom and so would make this post too long).

I am too lazy to cross-post these to any fandom-specific comms today, so advance apologies if I eventually muster the stamina to do so and you see them again sometime.

Hello to all, especially those of you I haven't met here before. I write noblebright novels on hope in dark times, inspired by historical settings. Nearly all of what I write is original fiction, though my Muse occasionally allows me to write fanfic. All my stories are free. My writings are available in various places: my website, blog, AO3, and SqWA.

I've just posted at my Dreamwidth journal the story summaries and links to all the fic (mainly historical fantasy inspired by late antiquity) that I released in 2025. The stories are T-rated, featuring friendships, platonic life-partnerships, and romantic pairings (f/m and m/m). Here's my boilerplate content warning. I'd love to hear what you think of the stories.

Over 100,000 words of new fiction.
