Trailer: Malory Towers

The BBC have made an adaptation of Malory Towers, which is all up now on the iPlayer if you're in the UK.

I have to say I really enjoyed it and steamed through it in no time.

Definitely seconding this recommendation—I've just finished the series (and it's inspired me to start a re-read of the books) and it's great fun!

It was! A good re-imagining of the book, some very talented young actors (I thought the girl playing Gwendoline was especially good—she really has the whole 'twelve-year-old girl supervillain' thing down) and of course excellent use of the gorgeous Cornish scenery...

just watched this series today. it really was good! a diverse cast and great acting (though the start was a bit clunky). hopefully there'll be a second series, and more of the characters' backgrounds can be explored.
