I'm not sure what this'll be like, but it's apparently a new BBC adaptation of a book set in 19th C New Zealand, starting this Sunday:

I'll certainly be interested to see this, if we get it! I know a little bit about the book (lots of astrology) and got through the first chapter, but then decided it needed a bigger brain than I've actually got. It'll be nice to have an easier version - assuming it is easier.

Ohh, I've seen the first episode, and it was a bit confusing (lots of non-linear events) but definitely intriguing! :)
