Public Domain 2022

Time for my annual Public Domain post!

Public Domain Day (per US copyright laws) this January is going to have an interesting twist. Sound recordings will be leaving copyright time out for the first time.

Notable books include Winnie The Pooh, The Sun Also Rises and The Murder of Roger Ackroyd.

In poetry, Langston Hughes' The Weary Blues.

Those are the bits I found interesting. Do any of you know of interesting things leaving copyright at the end of the month?

Thanks for doing this! The music release is really interesting. I'm listing to some of the Columbia section now.

For movies, The General, starring Buster Keaton, is coming out, which is a favourite of mine.

Hope Mirrlees' Lud-in-the-Mist was published in 1926.
