I haven't read this particular book but I think another book of hers I read, The Last Light of the Sun, is in the same timeline! I've read a lot of Arthurian books and really appreciated her historical approach to the myth. She is a great but underappreciated author.

I haven't read that one! I've been trying to work through some of her other books when I have the time, so maybe I'll check it out. The Eagle of the Ninth and The Silver Branch are definitely my favorites so far, and I really agree, she's amazing and so sadly underappreciated!
