kalloway has A collection of links to some of the many, many active events, challenges, prompt communities, etc. on Dreamwidth (&elsewhere), in hopes of offering some distraction and creative outlet.

story_works is having a Comfort Challenge - "A multifandom and multimedia challenge that is all about comfort, hurt/comfort included" open for posting until May 31st.

Here at historium we have a new challenge to pick up a new fandom from those promoted at the comm using the fandom promo tag. It's never too late to post promos/manifestos for your fandoms and we also have a lower-level option of the fandom promo post.

marchmetamatterschallenge - "focused on not just new meta, but making sure older meta gets a chance to be read and remain a part of fandom history." Running March 1st-April 1st.


Upcoming:

Con-Solation Vidshow April 4th - "to showcase fanvid premieres that otherwise would have premiered at one of the con vidshows that have been cancelled because of the pandemic."

bethefirst - "the annual challenge to write for a fandom that has no fic". Open for sign-ups until the challenge finishes on 20th April.

fandom5k - "a multifandom fanfiction exchange with a 5,000-word minimum." Nominations open till 27th March; sign-ups 28th March-11th April.

femslash_kink - "a multifandom gift exchange intended to celebrate kink in femslash." Nominations open April 9th-23rd.
