Please note that this will be the last regular Round Up until late August/September! (Summer doesn't play well with me, but I'll pick it back up again as soon as I can.)

If you want to bring anything to the attention of the community, don't forget that all members are welcome to post and crosspost fanworks, news, links, discussion posts, recs, reviews etc. directly to the comm and to promote any fandom event of interest here. (Or, indeed, feel free to post any round-ups of your own should you wish to!)

We will still have a new challenge running from next month.

Multifandom Fests & Events

Open Collections & Ongoing Events:

Here at historium our current challenge is to pick up a new fandom from those promoted at the comm using the fandom promo tag. It's never too late to post promos/manifestos for your fandoms and we also have a lower-level option of the fandom promo post. Running till 30th June.

seasonofkink - "a fic- and art-based bingo challenge that accepts all types of pairings – the only requirement is that the resulting fanwork is kinky!" Open now until the round ends 1st October.

writetomyheart - "a comm where we play fic shiritori, in which we go in turns posting short fics that begin with the end of the previous fic (at least the last word, and including up to the whole last sentence)." Currently open for new people to sign-up.



Upcoming:

littleblackdressex - "a ship-based multifandom exchange premised on creating fanworks for "Little Black Dress" characters, which is to say characters that "go" with anything." Sign-ups closed but the Madness prompt round continues.

rule63exchange - "an exchange for fanfiction and fanart featuring genderswapped characters" Sign-ups open 4th-18th June.

fandomgiftbox - "A summer fanworks gifting fest inspired by Fandom Stocking." Open for sign-ups until June 21st.

parallelsfic - "a fanworks exchange for rare Asian media fandoms - (anime, manga, manwha, Bollywood, k-pop, tokusatsu, jdramas, etc.)" Nominations open until June 12th; sign-ups 14th-22nd June.

eatdrinkmakemerry - "a low-commitment multifandom exchange celebrating food and drink." Sign-ups open 5th-12th June.

original_works_ex - "a gift exchange dedicated to original works in fandom." Nominations open 6th-15th June; sign-ups 18th-27th June.
